AFAR magazine site redesign

VISUAL DESIGN, INTERACTION DESIGN, UX

I was an active voice in rethinking the design and UX of afar.com and creating the AFAR Trip Planner, a comprehensive tool created to assist travelers in organizing their research. Incorporating a three-column grid structure into the home page, designated content buckets are surfaced above the fold and the new user can better understand and engage with AFAR.

Art direction by Elizabeth Spiridakis Olson. Engineering direction by Derek Butcher. Front-end development by Christopher Wallace. Content development by Davina Baum.
