ANOTHER GREY CITY

In the far distance, just beyond the dark shades of mist I could see the tracings of a town, suspended in the haze like something out of a dream. What could it be like to start over in this part of the world, in this place with its vast wildness of mountains and sea, and no need to choose between them? The fire that I carried in me, if that’s what it was, had flung me across continents again and again. It seemed only logical that at some point, something would compel me to stay.

Another Grey City: A Scented Story is a multifaceted exploration of place and belonging through the lens of scent and memory. One of my most enduring goals has been to write and publish a book on my own imprint, and I finally made it happen in 2021, stuck at home with nowhere else to be. Books of all kinds are near and dear to my heart; typesetting and designing a book of my own was a labor of love.
